Q&A

Do I need an antigen test or a PCR?

Your testing needs will vary based on the reason for your appointment. If you need a test for travel or medical reasons, please verify with the third party which type of test they require before booking your appointment. If you are symptomatic and just want to check, consider a more cost-effective and quicker antigen test to clarify your doubts.

What if I've been in contact with a Covid-positive person?

If you've been in contact with someone who is confirmed to be Covid positive, you should test after the incubation period or at the first signs of symptoms.

Will I need to quarantine if I test Covid positive in Italy?

Yes, currently the quarantine period in Italy as mandated by law for vaccinated citizens is 5 days from the first positive test. If you need to travel or have scheduled events, ask about refund or rescheduling policies due to Covid-19 infections before booking!

How much does the PCR test cost?

The PCR test is €70.00. If you need the same day PCR results, it will cost €120.

What is the difference between the antigen test and the molecular test (PCR)?

The antigen test measures the antigens of the virus but can give results in a much shorter time. The PCR evaluates the genetic information (RNA) of the virus and it is more sensitive and accurate.
