What type of mask do I need to wear in Italy?
Higher-grade masks, like Ffp2, will remain necessary for places like buses, subways and trams, planes, ships and ferries. They will be also required for performances in theaters, concert halls, cinemas and live music venues, for sporting events and competitions. In clubs, masks may be removed on the dance floor. However, upon entry and exit masks must be worn as a general rule.
Do I need a Green Pass after May 1?
According to Wanted in Rome "From 1 May, the government is to drop the Green Pass - the digital certificate proving the holder has been vaccinated or recently recovered from covid.
The lifting of these restrictions will include those relating to the Super Green Pass which can only be obtained by those who have been vaccinated or recovered from covid.
The Super Green Pass system will however remain in force until 31 December for those visiting hospitals and nursing homes."
